Steps of ready mix concrete casting:
- First of all, on the agreed day & hour for pouring the concrete, SDB will send a concrete pump to the project site. Secondly, a truck mixer will come to deliver ready mix concrete to the project location, then the concrete is pumped into the formwork. It is required one more time to double check the formwork readiness before casting to ensure whether the problem still exists or not.
- Considering that the volume of capsules of each mixer truck is standardized and calibration carried out periodically by the authority, then the delivered volume is generally accurate, according to the order.
However, in case of an inaccuracy in the volume calculation, then:
- If the ready mix concrete is still left in the truck mixer, the remaining concrete cannot be used anymore, so that it will be disposed. Or, at the customer’s request, it can be used for parking place repairs, etc. In this case, the customer is still charged.
- The delivered concrete volume is not sufficient for casting needs, then the customer should contact SDB for ordering the shortage of volume, and SDB will charge an additional payment.
- If there are complaints about the volume, quality, or others, please immediately inform SBD within 2 x 24 hours at the latest. SDB will respond immediately and take necessary steps.
